Grund für die Entstehung der Firma waren die Erfahrungen des Gründers Herrn Rainer Gödde, welcher den ersten Teil seines Lebens als Maler tätig war. 1985 nahm er das Problem selbst in die Hand und entwickelte die bis heute nach dem Konzept gebaute Göddeleiter.
